The first to reach the fix was the GlobalSat BT-338, after about 20 seconds away from gsm controller. The speed signal acquisition receiver GlobaSat is impressive, despite the location (quite pool) that allowed the BluetoothGPS Mini Receiver (SiRF Star IIe / LP) to obtain the fix. The gsm controller benefits from the latest SiRF Star III chipset, greatly improved from the previous Star II. We are not talking only of a greater number of parallel channels in reception (20 instead of 12), but for better speed and sensitivity in signal reception.
